With the BIG game coming up this weekend against Georgia I thought I should blog about the new club that is being formed in The Villages.
The Villages GATOR CLUB! GO GATORS!
At last a club for all us Gator fans. A large room in The SeaBreeze Recreation center is reserved the 1st Thursday of each month starting NOVEMBER 4 at 6:00 P.M. The first meeting will be used for getting acquainted and bringing everybody up to date on what has happened. Be sure to tell all your Gator friends about this exciting event.
We need to discuss any ideas you might have for the purpose of the club, such as getting together to watch the games, gator parties for special (or any) occasions, golf tournaments, a get together cookout, a yearly SEC get together (inviting all other SEC schools) or any other ideas you might have. For this to work we MUST have input and participation. Your involvement will be what makes this club successful.

I hope to meet all you Gator fans soon! Unfortunately for me I will not be at the first meeting as we are moving in to our home in The Village of Duval the next day from……… you guest it, Georgia. Oh how we are looking forward to being in Florida!

Although we both attended Oklahoma State (Oklahoma A & M) we have lived in Florida since 1968. Our three kids attended U of F, five grandkids have graduated from Florida, one of which is studying for his Masters there, and the 6th grandson is a Junior at Gainesville. Needless to say, we are in Gainesville a lot and attend as many games as we can.
