It is very real for sure.  I came back a 2nd time for a long weekend and thought yes this place really is as close as you can get to heaven here on earth.  My only complaint was why did I not find out sooner.  I, like most of us Villagers, saw the Nancy Lopez and Arnold Palmer TV ads.  Live like a millionaire, free golf and all that.  I just figured it was some retirement place with one or two golf courses.  Boy, was I out in left field somewhere in the dark!

It was not really the time for us to buy but we kept looking on the internet every once in a while just to see what was happening here in the housing market.  I ran across a house I thought would make a great part time home for us while we were still in Atanta too.  I figured it would be 5 years before we would get here full time if at all.  So, bought the house! 

I hope you will comment on how soon you bought or what happened on your first or second visit her to our hometown.
